Penggunaan endnote bagi mahasiswa Wageningen University

Endnote merupakan perangkat lunak pengelola sitasi berbayar yang populer. harganya cukup mahal untuk satu buah lisensi. untuk PhD berharga 228 euro di situs www.surfspot.nl. sedangkan di researchsoftware.com berharga 140 euro untuk student. Wageningen University menyediakan gratis bila menggunakan komputer Wageningen. akan tetapi beberapa bulan terakir disediakan secara gratis untup penggunaan pribadi. berikut adalah kutipan dari web wur

How do I obtain EndNote for home use?

Wageningen University & Research staff and students can download EndNote for their private computer.

For use at home, WUR staff and students could download the EndNote.exe file.

For Windows
This Windows EndNote.exe file (size 81.5 Mb) enables you to install EndNote on your private (Windows) computer.

For Apple Mac
This Mac EndNote.exe file (size 81 Mb) enables you to install EndNote on your private Mac computer.

Bekerja dengan endnote dari mana saja

Endnote merupakan perangkat lunak untuk mengelola referensi yang sangat terkenal. Apabila suka berpindah komputer dalam mengerjakan paper. maka akan sangat sukar untuk memasang endnote lagi dan lagi di komputer lain tersebut. Endnote menyediakan fasilitas online untuk msalah ini. hanya saja dibutuhkan banwith yang kencang, dan waktu untuk melakukan sinkronisasi. resiko duplikasi pun ada. untuk itu Endnote juga memiliki fitur yang jarang digunakan yaitu melakukan instalasi library di flash disk. metode ini sangat mudah apabila baru memulai menggunakan endnote.

Apabila sudah memiliki library di PC, maka seluruh folder My EndNote Library.Data dan juga file .enl dapat dikopi ke folder khusus di flash disk. Hal yang perlu diingat bahwa apabila endnote digunakan untuk menyimpan file pdf dari koleksi paper, maka ukuran library akan menjadi besar. untuk itu dibutuhkan flash disk yang cukup besar dan cukup cepat.

Formatting your bibliography

Even if CWYW is turned on, you may need to change settings for your own requirements

In Word’s EndNote ribbon, check in the Bibliography block that the correct style is selected

If you need a different style, click the drop-down to see a short list of other styles; click Select Another Style... to see all styles currently available to you
If you are working with CWYW turned off, click Update Citations and Bibliography to generate the citations and bibliography
Bibliography Preferences: You can control some elements of the layout of the bibliography (font, heading, indenting and line spacing) by clicking the small arrow at the corner of the Bibliography block and then the Layout tab

There may be a slight delay, but the bibliography will soon appear at the very end of your document.

More Specific Formatting of the Bibliography

For EndNote version X7 later, you can also edit the Word style for the EndNote Bibliography

Move your cursor into one of the bibliography entries
Format the paragraph settings as you would like them to appear — for example, alter the indenting of the paragraph
Right-click and choose Styles > Update EndNote Bibliography to Match Selection
